LISTEN TO THIS WEEK'S BROADCAST
Therefore, Do Not Let Evil Reign
Sunday, November 16, 2008
On today's program Speaker Steve Hedgren addresses a very misunderstood concept about life. Conventional thought says that we are slaves to sin. There is no way to avoid temptation, so why try? Well, according to today’s Scripture passage, we do have the ability to choose how we will live our life. At least, this is true for all those who are Christians. If you have yet to make the decision to become a Christian, your pathway to a new life and spiritual freedom begins when you choose to follow Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life. Listen now and discover the truth that will set you free!

Therefore: A Study from the Book of Romans

Just the mention of the word "doctrine" and many of us envision stuffy old men gathered around a big table issuing edicts that make life rigid and mundane. However, in his letter to the Church at Rome, the "doctrine" that the Apostle Paul gives us is really a guide to what Christians believe. Because of what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross at Calvary, the old Mosaic Law is now replaced by the "new covenant." No longer are we under the law, but under God’s grace – His unmerited favor. We serve a risen Savior, not out of the dictates of rules but rather, out of a genuine love for Him.

Join us in the coming weeks of this series as our Speaker Steve Hedgren takes us on a profound study on the Book of Romans – specifically looking at the teachings that Paul begins the word "therefore." It will change your life.
