No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

--1 Corinthians 10:13

I have an honest question to ask you today: What’s your greatest weakness?

Even if no one else knows what it is, Satan knows. He is very real and very powerful… and believers should always be on the lookout for the physical, emotional, and spiritual temptations he throws our way.

But the great news is that you are not alone in this struggle! As our Scripture verse for yesterday and today promises, God will always be faithful to provide an exit strategy in the midst of temptation.

And He gives us three ways to overcome temptation:

• By FAITH. First John 5:4 says, “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
• By FLEEING. Second Timothy 2:22 says, “So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.”
• And by FIGHTING. Because Ephesians 6:13 says, “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”

Every time Satan tries to discourage you or cause you to doubt, pray against him in the name of Jesus, and he will run from you.

You have victory as a child of God in your battle against evil!
