| Personal Faith, Public Policy With the presidential nominees soon to be finalized, many are wondering where religious Americans will land. In their new book, Personal Faith, Public Policy (FrontLine; March 2008), Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, and Bishop Harry Jackson, chairman of the High Impact Leadership Coalition and senior pastor of Hope Christian Church, argue that the religious Right is not falling apart; rather it is growing, expanding, and being rejuvenated. | I love going into your devotionals and just soaking up all these writers have to say. It brings great joy to my day. I want to thank each of you for your sweet words of encouragement in these devotionals. Thank you so much for all that you do.
We have been in Egypt for the past 4 months (our home is in Idaho) and will be here for an indefinite amount of time. The thing we miss most from home is our connection to Christian Radio. When I found this website it was a God send. Thank you for providing an internet avenue to access the wonderfully uplifting programs that share the Word of God. I just read "Getting Priorities Straight" which is exactly the discussion that my husband and I have had recently. Being far from home, it is easy to get caught up in the struggles of third world living (and how tired it makes one). We were just discussing how we have got to get first things first back into our everyday life. Amazingly, I read this article and it was posted on our anniversary! Thank you for an uplifting ministry.

Contemplative Terror from Roger Oakland Proponents of contemplative prayer say the method requires some caution and is not for the novice.
